Privacy Policy

Oasis Balloon is committed to following the recommendations of the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) regarding the collection and processing of your personal data. We do our utmost to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French “Informatique et Libertés” law.

Cookies Requiring Consent

According to the CNIL, three types of non-functional cookies require user consent:

• Cookies related to targeted advertising operations.
• Certain audience measurement cookies.
• Social media cookies generated by sharing buttons when they collect personal data without user consent.

About Matomo

Matomo is configured to be GDPR-compliant with the following measures:

• Users tracked by Matomo are not identifiable due to IP address anonymization. The last two bytes of each IP address are deleted (e.g., IPv4 192.168.110.30 becomes 192.168.0.0), making precise identification impossible.
• From the legal notice page, visitors can withdraw cookie consent at any time.
• Visitors who have activated the “Do Not Track” directive in their browser are never tracked.
• Raw data retained by Matomo is purged every 6 months.

Matomo Cookies:

• _pk_id: Stores a unique identifier to “recognize” the visitor. Lifespan: 13 months.
• _pk_ses: Stores session-related data. Lifespan: 30 minutes.

How Do We Obtain Consent?

We use a banner describing the purposes of cookie use, explicitly asking for consent per cookie category, and providing a “customize” button for later modification.

How to Accept or Refuse Cookies

1. First, the user accepts or declines cookies through the banner.
2. Then, the user can update their choices at any time via the “Manage Services” button, authorizing or denying cookies by purpose.

Users can also manage third-party cookies directly through their browser (not recommended by CNIL):

• Chrome: Menu > Settings > Advanced Settings > Privacy & Security > Content Settings > Cookies > Block third-party cookies.
• Firefox: Menu > Options > “Privacy & Security” tab > Use custom settings for history > Set “Accept third-party cookies” to “Never.”

Forms and Data Collection

Information collected via contact forms is recorded in a digital file by Oasis Balloon for processing inquiries.
Data is kept for the duration of the request handling (up to 3 years) and is intended for the sales, admin, and marketing teams.
